When Curtis francois was 7 years old, he and his family went to see Evel Knievel’s performance at Gateway Motorsports Park. At the time, it was just a drag.

He said: “I can’t wait to see how cool it is and I can’t wait to ride a cross-country motorcycle.” “I’m not sure it’s my parents’ intention, but that’s the effect.”

They are not racing fans. But somehow, next year, he has a motorcycle.

Now, the owner of the gates sports park, francois is looking for a family memory like his childhood.

Starting Friday, it’s a big motivation behind the first st. Louis speed festival. Held on August 26, the first Bommarito auto group in 500, sports every day, the circuit and other parts of the venues will be held in nine different activities, to cater to the cyclist, runners, golfers and car enthusiasts (current and potential). The speed section was followed 500 years ago in Indianapolis, India, 500 years ago.

“It’s really an opportunity for us to interact with core racing fans and to get people who aren’t necessarily racing fans to participate in a big event in st. Louis,” said francois. “It’s fun outside the track – you can take part in many different events as a family.”

Francois, who continued racing, joined the circuit in 2011 and bought the car in 2013. He wanted to attract his family from the start. The site hosts more than 300 events a year, from weddings and foams to corporate training to cycling.

He wants to provide affordable racing for families, and tickets for children under the age of 15 can be used for free, even in IndyCar. “There is no doubt that we have heard; “We thank it,” he said. “It’s from people who don’t necessarily come. It offers a family of four to compete, snacks, fun and food costs less than $100. ”

Why do people compete? No other movement, says francois.

“It has an inner experience of smoke, noise and charm. It wraps all these things in a single thing that makes it unique. Seeing a 200-mile car is something you don’t see every day. ”
